Common questions

My reminders aren't showing up

First, open Settings → Reminders in the app and confirm the reminders you want are switched on.

Then check the system permission: on iOS, Settings → Notifications → Credit Card Central → Allow Notifications; on Android, Settings → Apps → Credit Card Central → Notifications. Reminders also need a fee renewal date or a bonus deadline saved on the card — a card with no dates has nothing to remind you about.

I bought Pro but I'm still seeing ads

Open Settings → Restore Purchases. That re-checks your Apple Account or Google account and re-applies the upgrade. Make sure you're signed in with the same account you bought it on.

If it still doesn't restore, email us and we'll sort it out.

How do I move my cards to a new phone?

On the old device: Settings → Export Data, and save or share the JSON file. On the new device: Settings → Import Data, and pick that file. Everything — cards, fees, bonuses, credits, and history — comes across.

Because nothing is stored on a server, this export is also your backup. There's no account to sign into, so we can't recover data for you if a device is lost.

Where is my data stored? Can you see it?

Everything you enter stays on your device. There is no account, no bank linking, and no server that receives your cards. We cannot see your data, and neither can anyone else.

See the privacy policy for the full details, including what the ad SDK collects.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting a card removes it immediately. To remove everything, uninstall the app — because all data is local, uninstalling erases it completely. There is nothing left on a server to request deletion of.

Does it connect to my bank?

No. You add cards yourself, or pick from a built-in library of popular cards that pre-fills fees, bonuses, reward rates, and credits. The app never asks for bank credentials and has no way to reach your accounts.

A card in the preset library has the wrong fee or bonus

Issuers change terms often. You can edit any field on a card directly. Please also email us the card and what changed — we update the library in app releases.

What is the 5/24 counter?

Chase generally declines applicants who have opened five or more personal credit cards in the past 24 months. The app counts the openings you've recorded so you know where you stand before you apply. Cards you tag as a partner's are kept out of your count.

Is Credit Card Central financial advice?

No. It is an organizing and reminder tool. Reward rates, credits, and 5/24 counts are based on what you enter, and issuer terms change — always confirm with your card issuer before making a decision.
